Every season leads to the BLUE YOUTH International Film Festival, where a curated selection of the year’s most remarkable films is publicly screened. A professional jury evaluates and awards the festival’s final winners, recognizing excellence in contemporary independent cinema.
Each April, the festival takes place live in Timișoara, Romania, at Habitat B1, a hub for Culture, Art and Dialogue.
Expect public screenings, a curated competition, and grand awards - alongside parties, workshops,
and a vibrant festival network.
Throughout the year, seasonal special screenings expand the experience, offering additional curated showcases and more opportunities for filmmakers to have their work seen, discussed, and celebrated.
